Over 60 young people aged between 14 – 25 are in the final stages of rehearsal for Auckland Theatre Company’s annual youth theatre festival The Next Big Thing at The Basement. Mentored by professional practitioners including Ben Crowder, Fasitua Amosa, Virginia Frankovich, Benjamin Henson, Thomas Press, Ruby Reihana-Wilson and the ATC Education team. The season runs from 10 – 15 July and features 3 original NZ plays for young people performed every night, including two brand new works. INKY PINKY PONKY by Amanaki Prescott- Faletau and Leki Jackson Bourke (7:30pm) High school rom-com with a twist!
